Patriot Lifting was recently called to assist with placing a swim spa at a mountain home, where steep terrain created an unexpected obstacle. The delivery truck transporting the swim spa simply couldn’t make it up the hill to reach the house or the crane.

With finished surfaces, slopes, and elevation changes involved, careful planning was critical.

The Plan: Controlled Transfer and Precision Placement

Once on site, Patriot Lifting evaluated the terrain and developed a plan to safely move the swim spa from the delivery location to its final set point.

This required:

• Proper rigging to keep the spa level

• Strategic crane positioning for maximum reach and stability

• Slow, deliberate movement across elevation

Once rigged, the swim spa was lifted and carefully guided into position at the mountain home. The operator maintained controlled movement while the crew monitored alignment and clearance.
